Financial Protocols
Financial Security Protocol
All community capital transactions are subject to the GWH Financial Security Protocol. This protocol governs the collection, custody, and potential refund of all Founding Phase contributions.
Protocol Specification
Capital Protection Framework
The Financial Security Protocol is a structural component of the GWH capital model. It is not a promotional feature—it is an operational requirement.
- 100% refundability of all Founding Phase community capital
- Zero lock-up period: refund available at any point during pre-launch
- No administrative fees or deductions on refund disbursements
- Refund processing through Stripe payment infrastructure
- Protocol terms codified in binding Terms & Conditions
- Board oversight of all capital custody operations
Payment Infrastructure
Stripe Encryption & Processing
All GWH financial transactions are processed through Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. GWH does not store, process, or transmit cardholder data on its own infrastructure.
| Security Layer | Implementation | Standard |
|---|---|---|
| Data Encryption | AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit | PCI DSS Level 1 |
| Card Data | Tokenized — never stored on GWH systems | PCI DSS Requirement 3 |
| Fraud Detection | Stripe Radar machine learning layer | Automated risk scoring |
| Compliance | SOC 2 Type II audited infrastructure | Annual third-party audit |
| Network Security | HTTPS-only with HSTS enforcement | TLS 1.2 minimum |
